Saturday

• At 5:22 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1700 block of Ellis Drive in reference to Lloyd H. Brown, 48, touching the leg of, and laying on top, of a juvenile, police reports stated. Brown was arrested and charged with simple battery, reports stated.

• At 3:19 a.m. Saturday, police conducted a routine traffic stop in the 2200 block of North Forrest Street, according to reports. Charles Edward Davis, 47, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance, failure to maintain lane of travel, driving without a driver’s license, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, reports stated.



Friday

• At 3:10 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 1900 block of North Ashley Street in reference to a shoplifting incident, according to reports. After a short foot chase, Michael Lamar Davis, 32, was arrested and charged with shoplifting $72 worth of merchandise and interference with an officer, reports stated.

• At 12:29 a.m. Friday, police responded to the 700 block of Woodlawn Drive where two people said two men had robbed them at gunpoint, according to reports. A juvenile was arrested and charged with armed robbery, reports stated.

• At 7:54 a.m. Friday, police responded to the 500 block of J.L. Lomax Drive in reference to one person threatening to cause bodily harm to another, according to reports. Calvin Brown, 32, was arrested and charged with terrorist threats, reports stated.



Thursday

• At 11:40 a.m. Thursday, police arrested and charged a juvenile with shoplifting in the 1800 block of Norman Drive, according to reports.

• At 4:30 p.m. Thursday, police stopped a speeding vehicle in the 900 block of South Patterson Street, according to reports. David Joseph Muschamp, 41, was arrested and charged with speeding and driving on a suspended license, reports stated.
