VALDOSTA — The Advisory Council for the Foster Grandparent Program and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program is holding the fourth annual Volunteers are the Heart of the Community Fund-raiser selling chocolate heart and rose lollipops.

The funds will be used to recognize and support more than 300 senior citizens volunteering in this 10-county region, said fund-raiser chair Susan Hamilton.

Prices are $2 for a single lollipop; $50 for a box (30 each); $5 for a single lollipop bouquet; $10 for a three-lollipop bouquet; and $20 for a six-lollipop.
