Flora M. Manuel



Flora M. Manuel, a homemaker, age 92, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2007. She was born in Sequoia County, Oklahoma. Coming from Missouri, she had lived in Mayo for the past 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Davis.

Survivors include a son; Dewey Davis and wife Nancy of Mayo, a step-son; Robert Manuel, of Springfield, Missouri, a step-daughter; Lula Mann and husband Charlie, a sister; Marie Waddle, of Benwheeler, TX, (13) grandchildren, (35) great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial Services were held on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the Lighthouse Christian Center at 3 p.m. with Pastor John Whittington officiating.

Joe P. Burns Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Harold Wood, 67, of Live Oak, passed away Friday, February 16, 2007 in his home after a long illness. The Oconee County Native moved to Live Oak from Mayo, in 1992.
