Drug Free Coalition sponsors after prom party

Suwannee High School students attending the prom this year have an option to drinking. They can attend the after the prom party instead.

The Drug-Free Coalition of Suwannee County is hosting its second after prom party for those attending prom March 24. The event is from 11:30 p.m. until 3 a.m. at Club Revolution at Melody Christian Center on U.S. 129 S. Students can attend free of charge.

“We want to prevent kids from risky behavior or going places where risky behavior be,” said Drug-Free Coalition Community Director Elizabeth Pineda.

The party will include food and soda, endless games and $3,800 in prizes.
