Race Rags Clothing LLC is proud to announce their sponsorship of Cory Cox. Cory, 15, of Live Oak, will be driving the Race Rags Clothing Quick 32 junior dragster this year in the LB Trailers Championship Series and other selected Jr. Dragster events. Cory is an accomplished junior dragster racer, having won numerous races and championships since his career started at age 8.

Ann Villante, owner of Race Rags Clothing, views her company’s sponsorship of Cory as an excellent way to introduce her line of clothing and accessories to the young men and women who participate in junior drag racing. “We feel Cory will be an asset in achieving these goals and the right person to represent our products in junior dragster racing,” she said.

The car will be a 2007 halfscale Outlaw with power coming from a proven Whaley Motorsports engine. Tuning will be handled by Cory’s long time crew chief Paul Strommen. Cory will be driving our Quick 32 Outlaw car as well as his own Halfscale Dragster with a Whaley Motorsports engine competing in the 15 and up age group and the 7.90 index class. The LB Trailers Jr. Drag World Championship Series consist of seven races starting in March and ending in November. These races are held in states from Florida to Iowa.

We will also be racing at a local level at South Georgia Motorsports Park, in Adel, Ga. and Gainesville Raceway in Gainesville. He will also be attending the Eastern Conference Championships in Bristol, Tennessee in July, which will be televised on the Outdoor Channel on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 8:30 p.m.
