ROMEOVILLE, Ill.

Lee Scott Frampton

Lee Scott Frampton, 39, of Romeoville, Ill., formerly of Tifton, died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2007, in the chapel of Anderson Memorial Chapel in Romeoville, Ill. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2007 in Oakridge Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Allen officiating. The family will receive friends before the services from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.

Mark Walker, Robert Creasman, Darrell Braswell, Austin Scott, Ernie Bishop and Dan Barry will serve as pallbearers.

Born Jan. 13, 1968 in Tifton to Bennie Joe Frampton of Valdosta and the late Peggy Lou York Frampton, Mr. Frampton was also preceded in death by his nephew, Jay Deason; and his grandparents, Orville and Helen York and Charlie and Neva Frampton.

Mr. Frampton had lived in Romeoville, Ill. for 12 years. He graduated from Tiftarea Academy, Class of 1987 and he enjoyed hunting, working out, playing video games, and he loved the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Mr. Frampton worked in construction.

Mr. Frampton is survived by his wife, Aimee Frampton of Romeoville, Ill.; his father and step mother, Ben and Barbara Frampton of Valdosta; sisters and brothers-in-law, Luann Frampton Deason and Orrin Deason of Brookfield, and Lindy Frampton and David Stewart of Lakeland; nephews, Nate Branch and his wife, Jessica of Moultrie and Blair Branch of Atlanta; step brother, Steve Purdy and his wife, Sue of Valdosta; step sister, Kim Hughes of Valdosta and his pet Labrador, “Max.”

Addis W. Crowe

Addis W. Crowe, 88, of Valdosta died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman after a short illness. She was born on Aug. 6, 1918 in Miller County, Ga. to the late James S. and Minnie Newberry Wacaser and had lived in Valdosta since 1955. Upon graduating from Miller County High School she attended Georgia State Women’s College, now Valdosta State University. Mrs. Crowe taught school in Colquitt, Ga. for several years and retired as a Field Representative with Woodmen of the World. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she served in many capacities including Merry Makers, the 55 and Alive Choir and led a weekly prayer group in her home. Mrs. Crowe loved people and was never too busy to help someone in need and loved to work in her yard and liked to have friends in her home for a fun time. She also enjoyed traveling with the Senior Adults. Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren were a very important part of her life. Mrs. Crowe was a member of the Woodmen of the World, Literary Guild, Christian Women’s Club and active in the Emmaus Community.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phil J. Crowe, Sr., two brothers, Jimmy Wacaser and David Wacaser and two sisters, Ruth Stahl and Eunice Driesbaugh.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Phil, Jr. and Margaret Crowe of Warner Robins, Myron and Jessica Crowe of Hahira; her grandchildren, Shannon Crowe of Houston, Texas, Brandon Crowe of Austin, Texas, Sean Crowe, Amy Crowe Mulgrew both of Valdosta, Amber Crowe Griffin and Catherine Crowe both of Hahira; five great-grandchildren, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Gladys and Zell Blackmon, Martha Ann Branch all of Warner Robins, many special nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Thomas Mason, Dr. Craig Rikard and Mr. Errol Sewell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Romie Croft Hart

Romie Croft Hart, 81, of Valdosta died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on Nov. 19, 1925, in Miami, Fla. to the late Ira and Josephine Griffin Croft. Mrs. Hart was a member of Faith Chapel in Jasper, Fla. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William K. and Linda Giles of Valdosta, R. Larry and Imogene Hart of Marietta; daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Barry Ganas of Jennings, Fla.; sons, William Harvey Hart, Jr., James Michael Hart of Valdosta; daughter, Janice Veal of Valdosta; grandchildren, Kenneth Chase and Kelly Conaway, Ft Myers, Fla., Daniel Elton Veal, Valdosta, Christopher L. and Rhonda Hart, New Orleans, La., Kenneth Jeffrey Giles, Pamela Jo and Francisco Hernandez, Will Harvey Hart III, all of Valdosta; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Colbert and Joyce Croft of Jasper, Fla.; sisters, Mary Evelyn Lyles, Mickey Watson, Corene Walters, of Valdosta, Kay Sikes, Lakeland; great-grandchild, Joshua Hernandez, Valdosta; sister-in-law, Mildred Croft of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harvey Hart, sisters. Doris Walden, Joyce Horne, brother, Ira Gene Croft.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 29, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Colbert Croft, Dr. Clyde Stokes, the Rev. Brian Sayre officiating.
