The grand opening of the new Peebles clothing store on South Ohio Ave. is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 27.

A four-day grand opening celebration begins at 8:45 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. All shoppers will receive a 15 percent storewide discount with a Grand Opening Shopping Pass. The first 150 customers (age 16 and older) to arrive at the store Sept. 27 and Sept. 28 will receive gifts.

On Sept. 29-30, customers will receive coupon books offering five weeks of savings. Customers who make a Junior Dept. purchase of $25 or more will receive a free one-year subscription to Seventeen magazine. All shoppers who visit the store during the four-day festivities can register to win one of three $250 Peebles gift cards.

Brands offered at Peebles include Izod, Unionbay, Liz Claiborne, Estee Lauder and Clinique fragrances, Sag Harbor, Dockers, Haggar, Van Heusen, Chaps, U.S. Polo Assn., New Balance, Reebok, Levi’s, Carter’s, Nike, Clarks and numerous others.
