Victoria Johanna Wilson, 88, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2007 at Suwannee Valley Nursing Center, Jasper, Florida, following a lengthy illness. The Miami, Florida native moved to Live Oak, Florida from Miami, Florida in 1973. She had retired from the Dade County School system after working many years in the cafeteria and was of Protestant faith.

She was predeceased by her husband, Carter Wilson, and her son, James Pilkington Jr.

Survivors include a grandson, James Pilkington III of Lake City, Florida; a granddaughter, Christy Pilkington of Lake City, Florida; and her daughter-in-law, Frances Pilkington of Lake City, Florida.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 23 at Suwannee River Community Church with the Rev. Ray Brown officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.

Harris Funeral Home, Inc. of Live Oak, Florida was in charge of all arrangements.
