Pauline Delores Bailey, 78, of Live Oak, Florida, passed away, Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007 at Shands at Live Oak in Live Oak, Florida following a lengthy illness. The native and life long resident of Live Oak was an executive director for the Live Oak Housing Authority and a member of Marybelle Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rufus W. Bailey Sr. of Live Oak, Florida; one son, Rufus W. “Bo” (Linda) Bailey of Live Oak, Florida; two daughters, Barbara Genevore (Chuck) Shirah of Birmingham, Alabama and Phyllis Ann Bailey of Live Oak, Florida; one brother, Earl (Shirley) Summers of Live Oak, Florida; two sisters, Shirley (Don) Sikes of Live Oak, Florida and Sandra (Rick) Mallada of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren, Cindy (Greg) Compton, Chet (Lacey) Bailey, Julie Shirah, Felicia (David) Manning; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today, Friday, Oct. 26 at Marybelle Baptist Church with the Rev. John Reichard and the Rev. Matthew Barker officiating. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
