Department Commander Warren Post paid a visit to the Harry C. Gray II American Legion Post No. 107.

This was the first visit to the post by a department commander. Accompanying him was 3rd District Commander Eugene Street.

The Commander spoke on the Veterans Administration budget, the importance of membership and how we as veterans need to get productive in helping other veterans with problems.

Post Commander Buffington stated that the post is active in signing up veterans, have a service officer and have a phone number for veterans interested in joining the post, 386-362-5987 between noon and 4 p.m. every day except Thursday or Sunday. As a growing post, they have some problems that have to be ironed out, like any other organization. So far they are doing pretty good.
