Annie Francis Mobley, 83, of Live Oak, Florida, a well known and highly respected resident, departed her earthly home on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at North Florida Regional Hospital after a brief illness.

She was a member of New Greater Bethel AME Church where she served faithfully whenever and wherever she could until her health began to fail.

She leaves a legacy of love with her family, four sons, Johnny L. (Ruby) Mobley of Miami, Florida, Enoch (Harvestine) Mobley III of Raleigh, North Carolina, Leo P. (Hattie) Mobley of Miami, Florida and F. Anthony Mobley Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia; two daughters, Barbara Bennett of Gainesville, Florida and Carolyn Y. Cox of Gainesville, Florida; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, The Rev. Eugene Mobley of Jacksonville, Florida and Sylvester Gross Sr. of Live Oak, Florida; sisters-in-law, Elder Rosa L. Ford and Alice James, both of Padlock, Florida; a very special nephew, Lee A. Ford; other devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends including members of the Butler, Patterson, Randolph, Reid and Hall families; a very special friend and neighbor, James Seay; and members of New Greater Bethel AME Church family, the Rev. Charles Burke, pastor.

Homegoing services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 3 at Greater New Bethel AME Church, the Rev. Charles Burke, pastor, officiating.

Charles T. Hall Funeral Home of Live Oak, Florida is in charge of all arrangements.
