MR. KEVIN ROSS FOLSOM, SR., age 57, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008 at his home in Old Town. Mr. Folsom graduated from Lafayette High School in Mayo, in 1967 and entered the United States Air Force, where he served until 1973. He was a lifetime resident of the Lafayette, Taylor and Dixie County areas. He was a commercial fisherman and was a former member of the Horseshoe Beach Fire Department.

He is survived by son, Kevin Ross Folsom, Jr. of Old Town; daughters, Adrain Wimberley of Old Town, and Cher Tucker of Perry; brother Maury Folsom of Mayo; sisters, Shona Murphy of Perry, and Beverly Renfroe of Gainesville, and 4 grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 6 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cross City. A graveside memorial service was held at the Bethel Cemetery in Mayo, Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 1 p.m.
