The Lady ‘Dogs traveled to Bradford County Tuesday evening to face the Tornadoes. It was quite a “storm” but the ‘Dogs came out of it with a big win, 23-25, 25-16, 23-25, 25-14 and 16-14.
Leading the ‘Dogs were Natalie Pecina, with 23 service points, four aces, seven set assists and six dinks; Nicole Roper, with 13 service points and two aces; Tiyrenee Riley with 11 service points and six kills, Debbie Hett with seven services points, and Anitra Jones with seven blocks and three service points.
The last game, the ‘Dogs were down 11-14 with Pecina up to serve. The ‘Dogs never let the “high winds” get to them, they came together as a team, fought the storm and won the game, set and match. Way to go, Lady ‘Dogs.
The Lady ‘Dogs were scheduled to take on Clay High Thursday night.
