State Road 247

Daytime lane closures after 8:30 a.m. from north of

Branford (north of the curbed section) to the Columbia County line to

prepare the shoulders of the roadway for paving. There will be no work on

the sidewalk in the Town of Branford during the week but will continue the

week of November 17. Also, the 24-hour lane closure just south of the

Columbia County line to repair the pavement has been postponed until the

week of November 17. The contractor will be working Veteran’s Day.



US 129

Daytime lane closures to begin Tuesday north of Branford to

McAlpin to repave the intersecting side streets. The final layer of asphalt

is expected to start being placed November 17. No work in downtown Branford.

The contractor is planning to work Veteran’s Day.
