Larry Lawton McCulley, age 58, of Jennings, Florida, passed away early Friday, February 13, 2009, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. Larry was born in Hamilton County and spent most of his life working on the family farm. He was a former National Guardsman and was a member of the Jennings United Methodist Church. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Lawton McCulley.

Survivors include two sons: Colby McCulley and his wife Heather of Gainesville, Florida, and Chase McCulley of Valdosta; his mother, Marta McCulley of Jennings; one brother, Terry McCulley of Jennings; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Mike Jones of Jasper, Florida; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 15, 2009, in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Pastor Lee FerDon officiating. Mr. Mike Jones gave the eulogy. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
