The proud owner of the Lake City Community College Bar-B-Que Grill is John Strayer of John’s Lawn Equipment, Live Oak. The grill was built by the welding students at the college in their spare time over the last two years. Tickets were sold during November and December to the surrounding counties raising approximately $1,743, of which $500 will go to a scholarship fund for welding students. The balance will be used to enhance the program with equipment and supplies.
