Valdosta has a new restaurant and it offers the largest arrangement of Chinese, Japanese, American and Mexican cuisine.

Hibachi Grill and Deluxe Bar is located in the old Marco Polo location on Baytree Drive, next to Office Max.
Decorated with a huge fountain with fish swimming inside, crystal chandeliers and soft light, the restaurant offers more than 200 different items on its bar ranging from rib-eye steak, salmon, fried catfish, black-pepper shrimp, chicken, and crabmeat cheese.
The restaurant has a wide selection of sushi, said Samuel Zheng, manager.
The restaurant also has its own hibachi section where customers can make up their own menu and have it cooked to their satisfaction at no additional charge.
Q: How much experience do you have in owning a buffet restaurant?

A: We’ve been (running a buffet restaurant) for more than 10 years. We are from California.
Q: How did you choose Valdosta for this restaurant?
A: We know the person who used to own (Marco Polo). He tried to get someone to take it over, and we took it over.
Q: What is the most popular meal?
A: I know people like the fried shrimp. I would say catfish, General’s Chicken. They like steak and sushi. People like the hibachi.
Q: What are your prices?
A: Lunch, served Monday through Saturday, is $6.35. For kids who are between 3 and 6 years old, lunch is $2. For kids ages 7-10, it’s $3.99. Dinner is $8.99 with kids 3-6 years old, $3.95, and 7-10 years old, $5.50. Kids under 3 eat free.
Q: Do you have any discounts?
A: Senior citizens (60 years or older) receive a 10 percent discount with identification.
