Sallie Hicks age ninety-seven, who resided in Miami, Fla. and was a former resident of Live Oak, Fla. died suddenly at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla.

She was a member of Greater Bethel AME Church. Rev. Samuel Sullivan, pastor.

Survivors are (2) two daughters; Dr. Cathia Darling and Eveline Glover both of Miami, Fla. Granddaughter Kimberly William and great granddaughter both of Portland, Oregon, (3) three sisters; Arelius Tomlinson and Louise H. Hall of Live Oak, Fla., Doris Veasy of Miami, Fla., a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Final rites will be held at 12 noon on Monday, March 22, 2010 at Charles T. Hall Funeral Home Chapel in Live Oak, Fla. Rev. Charles Graham, officiant. Committal will follow in East Side Memorial Cemetery.
