Minister Willie B. Lewis presents Thelma Johnson Branham with the Westside Archives’ E.A. Spruel Icon Award during the recent Retired Teachers Lunch. The 96-year-old Branham worked as a Valdosta and Lowndes County teacher for more than 40 years. She is also proud of having taught Sunday School for most of her life. She has traveled
