Audiences can expect plenty of musicals in the coming year from local high school productions to visiting national tours to locally grown professional shows.

But there are also plenty of concerts, art exhibits and more in the works for the season.

And while today’s list contains dozens of arts events for the coming months, it is still not complete as we did not hear from a few places, some are still creating their schedules and others will be featured at a later date in these pages.

Still, it’s a big, bold season and it is upon us once again.

Lewis’ classic, set in the land of Narnia, faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia.
