I would like to know when did Jerry Scarborough and the School Board change Suwannee High’s colors from green, white and gold to green and black? The band asked us to support them last year and bought new uniforms, and now they are wearing green and black. The coaches wear black and white,  and the new Dancing Doll team wears gold and black, so what happened to Kelly green, white and gold?

Yes ma’am, I am not from Suwannee County but I am calling in response to a rant that I seen on the Internet website about the school buses. I totally agree with the lady that posted that comment. The school buses do need to be reported due to their speeding and it’s not safe for our children. I live in Hamilton County and we have the same issues here. It is unbelievable, and I do think something needs to be done about this situation.

It is time for Bennie Thomas to resign. With the ongoing ethics violation charges and now a DUI, he is an embarrassment to the City. He should resign and the Mayor can appoint his replacement. I have the perfect replacement. Former County Commissioner Douglas Udell.

I love your Rant and Rave. I tell you I only finished the ninth grade, but after reading some of the comments of the people that write in here, I feel like a rocket scientist. Again we have somebody agreeing with Mrs. Mullen. The first one I have seen that agreed with her. Must be another alien from the planet Censor. I would like to know if Ms. Mullen ever considered the consequences her children would suffer if she had succeeded with her narrow mindedness. I know I would hate to be the child on the bus that ruined it for everybody else. And you know those kids won’t be quiet and they will single those children out. But I don’t think she has thought about things like that cause she sounds very selfish and narrow-minded to me. Thank you very much and everybody have a good weekend.

I’m calling about the school bus music and I’m calling in response to the person that had the guts to stand up and say yeah, the lady was correct. Who is responsible for these children’s behavior on the school bus? Is it the bus driver, the teacher, the principal? The parents maybe would be a good place to start. Instead of just playing music to satisfy them while they are riding the bus, the parents should be out there riding on the bus and seeing what their kids are doing and they should be behaving the same as in the classroom. Thank you very much.

I’d like to respond to the idiots that wrote in about the deputies at the Fort White football game. Maybe they need to get their facts straight first of all. Because those guys are not getting paid to be there, they are there for the security of our children. And I’m really tired of people downing deputies and the police department all the time. They need to get their facts straight. They need to start looking at their own selves and not everybody else and complaining about things that have nothing to do with them. Maybe we should get their phone numbers and addresses and not let deputies or police officers respond to them when they need help. Maybe that would help them with the situation.

It is SOP to argue about the number of people attending any given march or demonstration.  How about measuring the amount of trash the demonstrators leave behind when they go home, and judging their cause accordingly? Can’t argue with data based on tons of trash.

There is so much mud slinging on TV with these ads for political office. Who are you going to believe? Nobody says anything good about the other party. Why vote? They are all a bunch of crooks.

Is the city so strapped for cash that they cannot buy new water meters? This is ridiculous that they are estimating, when you’ve got meters that can be purchased and alleviate the situation and give them more income. Thank you.

The Mainstream Media in the USA has become the 5th Column. There can be no other description for the incessant slant and bias of today’s reporting and reporters. The tragedy is that the elitists that you 5th columnists support will turn on you like cur dogs when their socialism agenda is enacted. And the majority of today’s media is too stupid to realize that they will not be the survivors when our country is forever changed away from our Constitution. I would like to know why it is that the bus driver determines the routing of the busses?  Two years ago my granddaughter got on the bus last around 7:15 and was the last off the bus at around 4:15.  NOW, because the driver preferrs it – she gets on first at around 6:30 and STILL is last off, giving her a very long day and people at the other end of the spectrum have a relativelty short day.  I don’t think this is fair to anyone.
