Ten-year-old Conner Sipos is a one-in-a-million model.
A student at Amanda’s Models & Talent, he was chosen as a finalist for Gap Model for 2011 out of 1.6 million entries. Twenty finalists were chosen: five boys, five girls, five baby boys and five baby girls. Now, the public has to vote for the GAP Model for 2011 by going to www.gapcastingcall.com. Voting will end Dec. 20.
“I couldn’t talk for five minutes,” Conner said of when his mom gave him the news and told him they would be leaving for a Gap photo shoot in San Francisco two days later. “I feel wonderful.”
“It was overwhelming,” added his mom, Jacci Reeder of Valdosta.
Reeder had looked for open castings and sent his picture taken by AM&T owner Amanda Kirk to Gap.
“Conner is definitely one of a kind,” Kirk said. “He takes his passion for modeling and acting very seriously. We are a family at AM&T and we are all so proud of Conner. This opportunity is one he will never forget. I hope we can bring one more title home to Titletown.”
