W.R. “Buddy” Starling Sr.

W.R. “Buddy” Starling Sr., 83, Live Oak, Fla. passed away on Friday, December 24, 2010 after a long illness. The life long resident of Live Oak was a veteran of WWII while serving in the U.S. Army. He co-owned Starling & Sons in Live Oak and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Mr. Starling is survived by his three daughters, Molly Sue & Ronnie Howard, Live Oak, Fla., Sarah Ann & Jan Touchton, Live Oak, Fla., Lillie Mae Hipp, Tampa, Fla.; one son, William Rufus & Vivian Starling Jr., Live Oak, Fla.; two brothers, Robert C. Starling, Davie, Fla., Gilford Eugene Callahan, Palmer, Tenn.; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 3 pm Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Antioch Baptist church with Rev. David McKeithen officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Daniels Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Live Oak & Branford, Fla. in charge of all arrangements.

Steven Michael Meyers, age 40, of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010. 

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2010 at Calvary Assembly of God, Dade City, Florida with Pastor John Chesser officiating. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Calvary Assembly of God, 13544 US Hwy. 98 Bypass, Dade City, FL 33525.

Priscilla Jane Simons, age 73, of Lake City, Fla. passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Fla.

As per her wishes finalization was by cremation.              

Harris Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. of Live Oak, Fla. was in charge of all arrangements.
