Ivey Memorial Park on the Suwannee River in Branford is getting a makeover just in time for the busy summer season.

The park, located at 614 Ivey Memorial Park Drive in Branford or more simply on US 27 just east of the Suwannee River, is open 365 days a year.

Recently, Branford city employees, along with the sheriff’s work crew, repainted the picnic benches in beautiful Kelly green.

Branford Springs sits at the entrance to the park, which provides ample parking, picnic tables, large shade trees, restrooms and potable water, along with a boat ramp for access to the river.

So, come on down…way down upon the Suwannee River.
