Taekwondo students thrive in Savannah

Fifth degree black belt Mitchell Church announces that five of his students at Valdosta Performance Martial Arts recently competed in the Savannah Georgia Regional Taekwondo Championship.
This was an American Taekwondo Association sponsored event and drew competitors from throughout the Southeastern United States.
In the fourth and fifth degree men’s black belt division, Mark Webb placed first in weapons, second in sparring and third in forms.
In the second and third degree women’s black belt division, Jennifer Powell placed first in weapons, second in forms and third in sparring.
In the color belt division, Glen Sibley placed second in weapons, third in forms and third in sparring.
Tori Sibley place second in weapons and sparring and third in forms.
Dwayne Cunningham placed fourth in forms competition.
