WMAZ-TV reports that Warner Robins City Councilman John Williams is accused of throwing food, coffee and water at Tony Robbins, who is chairman of the downtown development authority.
A police report states that the 72-year-old city councilman “lost control of his emotions” while arguing with Robins and threw the items at him Monday morning. Police said dispute took place in a Waffle House on Watson Boulevard.
Authorities said Monday that no one had been arrested.
Williams told WMAZ that it was an accident and that he did nothing wrong.
