Atlanta police say a 25-year-old Kentucky woman injured in a fall from 10th-story hotel room remains in critical condition.
Police department spokesman Carlos Campos says the woman, Cierra Williams, is being treated for her injuries at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Witnesses told police that 30-year-old LaShawna Threatt and Williams were “play wrestling” in a room at the W Atlanta-Midtown Hotel around 3:15 a.m. Saturday. Campos says the women fell onto a slanted sunroof adjoining the hotel. Threatt was killed.
Campos says an investigation continues, but police have no reason to believe the fall was anything other than an accident.
Family members in Lexington, Ky, said Sunday that Williams was responsive and asking questions.
