Homegoing celebration of the life of Mrs. Lavoria Townsend, who was better known as “Smutt” to many in the Hamilton County community and surrounding counties, will be held at Noon, Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Greater Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Jasper, Fla. The Rev. J.T. Billy Simon is the pastor and will officiate. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Jasper, Fla. The family will receive other relatives and friends, this evening, June 17, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. also at Greater Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. — Eric a.
