Valdosta State was one of the week’s biggest movers in the American Football Coaches Association Poll released Monday. The Blazers jumped from No. 12 to No. 5 in the Division II poll after defeating Albany State. The Blazers received 562 votes on the week, 160 behind No. 1 Northwest Missouri State, which garnered 26 of the 29 first place votes.

North Alabama moved from No. 4 to No. 2 this week. The Lions tallied 696 points, including two first place votes.
