Valdosta State shot a final round 301 to finish eighth at the Otter Invitational, held at the par 72, 6,900 yard Black Horse Golf Club Tuesday.

The Blazers finished the tournament with a three-round total of 902, 38 over par, to finish 15 strokes behind Cal State-Stanislaus and Western Washington, which tied for first at 887.

Travis Huston led Valdosta State as he shot a four-over 220 for the tournament, including an even-par 72 on Tuesday. Austin Graham followed with a 225 to tie for 22nd while Nate Anderson shot a 228 to tie for 35th. Will Repko tied for 40th.
