Funeral services for Retired Air Force Master Sgt. Tommie Lee Henderson, age 64, of Valdosta, GA, who passed in Gainesville, Fla., on Monday Nov. 14, 2011 at the Malcom Randall Veteran Medical Center, will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Southview Mortuary Chapel in Tifton, with committal services to follow in Oakridge Cemetery. The family will have a repast at the Neighborhood Community Center, 2737 South Central Ave, Tifton. The family will have a wake today from 7-8 p.m. at Southview Mortuary Chapel. Mr. Henderson will lie in state at Godfrey Funeral Home, 636 River St., Valdosta, today from 2-4 p.m.

Retired Master Sgt. Tommie Lee Henderson leaves to cherish his memories, his lovely wife, Tommie Mae Henderson, of Valdosta; his children, Philana E. (Donald) Bell, and Anthony D. Henderson;  his father, Mr. Jessie Henderson and sister Jan Brown, both of Tifton, GA; his grandchildren, Anthony D. Henderson II, Donald C. Bell, Jr. and Danshay Bell;  his in-laws, Cora Adams, Jessie (Artis) Stancil, Calhoun (Dr. Mary) Black, Wavier (Johnny) Jackson and Hazel (Solomon) Harris, and a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
