The Suwannee High School wrestling team placed 18th in the 1A state wrestling tournament in Lakeland, Florida last week.

The Bulldogs competed against 133 other high schools throughout the state.

Placing in the top for the Bulldogs was Shawn Brown (145 lbs.) who placed third, losing only to the state champion.

Placing fifth and medaling for the Bulldogs was Jerry Willis (180 lbs.). Placing in the number 12 spot were Randy Bucsok (113 lbs.), Aaron Fountain (134 lbs.) and Logan Fletcher (160 lbs.).

In the top 16 was Kialin Redish (170 lbs.).
