The two photos on the right were taken by Suwannee Democrat reporter Misty A. Ward. The second one was taken in August 2011. The first was taken today, March 15. The Suwannee River Water Management District has stated that the rise in water is temporary due to the rains in Georgia.

Little River is a spring with a run to the Suwannee River located in southern Suwannee County. The spring run is about 150 feet long with a cave system that is more than 1,200 feet long.
