Lowndes poker run Saturday to benefit families of USAF rescue heroes

Celebrate Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 19, 2012 and participate in 2nd Annual “Remember the Fallen Poker Run” hosted by the Moody Rescue Riders Motorcycle Club to benefit That Others May Live Foundation.  The event is open to motorcycle enthusiasts and automobile drivers are also welcome to participate. 

The start and end point will be at Da Ragin’ Cajun in Lake Park, GA with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. and the last bike out at 10:00 a.m.  Total ride mileage is approximately 170 miles.  There will be prizes for the best and worst hands and participants may all purchase raffle tickets for great items or a 50/50 raffle.  Cost to participate in the poker run is $10 for the first hand and $5 for each additional hand.  A full page of 9 hands is $40.  Enjoy live music by “Lost Decade” after 2:00 p.m. 

All proceeds will benefit the mission of That Others May Live Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization which provides critical support, scholarships, and immediate tragedy assistance for the families of United States Air Force Rescue Heroes who are killed or severely wounded in operational or training missions. The Foundation is not endorsed by the USAF and receives no federal funding.  Donations to the foundation are tax deductible.
