A possible sinkhole has formed near Warren Street and Pine Avenue, near the Suwannee County Courthouse, and has compromised several businesses in that area. Cracks are visible in some of the businesses. While a sinkhole has not visibly opened, a depression can be seen in the area.

“There appears to be a sinkhole,” said City Administrator Bob Farley.

Farley said the situation is being evaluated the determine what the next route should be.

In the meantime, the Suwannee County Courthouse has been closed for now.
