The family wishes to thank friends, family and the Suwannee Valley Hospice for their care, concern and prayers during her long illness & passing. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include nine children, Elaine Underwood, Alan (Jan) Ripley, Thomas (Suzanne) Ripley, Sidney (Tim) Evans, Joseph Ripley, George (Lillian) Ripley, Joanne Ripley, Jerry Ripley, Roberta (Maurice) Morey; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchild; sister Gladys Thomas, Interlachen, Fla.; brother Fred Woodworth, Elbridge, N.Y.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., Aug 11, 2012 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 4486 N. US Hwy 129, Live Oak, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed either to Haven Hospice of the Suwannee Valley, 618 SW Florida Gateway Dr., Lake City, FL 32024 or Watch tower 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11201.

Larry Lee Owens, age 56, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2012, at his home in Live Oak, Fla. He was born April 4,1956 to Mr. Percy Owens and Mrs. Lovella Warren Owens. He was a graduate of class of 1976 in Suwannee County. A beautiful life came to end on Wednesday, July 11, 2012.
Larry leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife Louise Owens, Live Oak, Fla., son Nicholas (Amia) Owens, Lake City, Fla., daughter, Henriantta (Quinton) Broxley, parents Mr. Percy and Lovella Owens, Live Oak, Fla., four sisters, Darlene (Maurice) Washington, Kaffa Owens, Chinetta (Larry) Butler and Wanda Owens all of Live Oak, Fla.; two brothers, Kenneth (Barber) Owens, Live Oak, Fla., Anthony (Stephanie) Owens of Deland, Fla.; two grand-daughters, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sorrowing friends.
The family will meet and greet friends Friday, July 20, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 21, 2012, 11 a.m. at Greater New Bethel A. M. E. Church, Rev. Johnny Meritt, Pastor; Rev. Charles Burke, officiating.
Bennie Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Nay W. Pinnegar

Nay W. Pinnegar, 78, went home to be with the Lord on June 30, 2012, at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Fla. He was from Princeton, Ky. moving to Live Oak in 1995. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Live Oak. He was pre-deceased by former wife Nata Jean (Ethridge) Pinnegar, father William, mother Nancy (Nunn) Pinnegar; five brothers; five sisters. He is survived by wife Shelby, one son-Mark Pinnegar, one daughter-JoNell Pinnegar, four grandchildren, Lindsey (Matt) Smiley, Jeremiah (Lindsey) Pinnegar, Kyle Farmer, Leeann Pinnegar, all of Colorado; great grand children, Spencer and Lucy Pinnegar; three step children, seven step-grandchildren, eight step great grand children.
The service was held at First Baptist, Live Oak on July 2, 2012. There was a military service at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Colorado, with full honors on July 16.
