Ruth Hitchens Heil

Ruth Hitchens Heil of Tallahassee, Florida formerly of Dowling Park, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 21, 2013. She was born April 16, 1926, in Elkton, Maryland. She was retired from the Legislature with the State of Florida. She was an outstanding daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Reverend Arent Carlton Heil. She is survived by three children, Janet (Kent) Thompson, David Heil and James (Kim) Heil; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Jane Gray and brother Joseph Hitchens. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Community Presbyterian Church 830 Pinewood Street in Live Oak, Florida. Internment was at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Beggs Funeral Home is handling arrangements and can be contacted at 850-973-2258.

Bruce G. Cruzan

Cruzan, Bruce G., 88, of Sun City Center, Fla passed away January 9, 2013. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He retired as an electronic technician for the Federal Aviation Agency.
Survivors include his wife, of 67 years, Irene, daughter and son in law, Brenda and Michael Swank, son and daughter in law, Doug and Rosana Sawyer, three grandchildren, Michelle Vitarelli and her husband, Frank, Nathan Porcare and Christopher Swayer, a great granddaughter, Nicolette Vitarelli, a brother, James P. Cruzan, two sisters and a brother in law, Margalene Rost and Mary Lou Blake and her husband, Bruce and his former daughter in law, Sircia Sawyer. Graveside services with military honors was 11 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. William Richard “Rick” Sealey, Jr.

William Richard “Rick” Sealey, Jr., 35, of Sierra Vista, Arizona passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, AZ after a short illness. Rick was born on January 28, 1977 in Thomasville, GA. He was raised in the Live Oak/Lee community and graduated high school from Vilseck American High School in Vilseck, Germany. He proudly served for 10 years in the United State Marine Corps and deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. At the time of his death, he was a field technology officer for the Customs and Border Patrol Protection. Rick married Nedra Roberson on May 7, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV. He enjoyed scuba diving and marksmanship. He was a proud father taking his children shooting and helping with homework. He also served as the High Knight Militant of the Knightly Order of the Winged Llama. Rick is survived by his loving wife, Nedra, daughter Sydney and sons Brayden and Logan. Other survivors include his mother, Joan McCrimon and husband Michael; his father, William Sealey and wife, Linda, all of Live Oak, FL, as well as his siblings Amy Walker, Robby Smith and Brandy Dixson. Rick was preceded in death by his paternal grandparentsJake & Ava Lee Sealey and maternal grandparent Doris Robert and Horace Hollie. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, January 31 at Daniels Funeral Home in Live Oak, Fl. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday , February 1stat Daniels Memorial Chapel. Burial will immediately follow in Lee Memorial Cemetery in Lee, Fl with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Daniel Deas, Blake Royal, Shawn Morgan, Timmy Morgan, Dale William, Paul Albritton, Hazel Rye, Mike Plain, Joey Miller, Mikey Keeler. Abram Scott Williams age 41, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Shands UF in Gainesville, FL. He was a native Gainesville, FL moving to Live Oak in 1990 from Atlanta, GA. He worked for Fire Safety Sprinkler Systems and in his spare time enjoyed fishing, looking for arrow heads, swimming, cooking and most of all spending time with his family. Abram was a member of the Cherokee Nations Federation of Okmulgee, OK and was of the Baptist Faith.
He was predeceased by his father Kenneth Robert Williams, Sr.; numerous other family and friends and the most resent a brother, Michael Jack Williams on Saturday, January 26, 2013.
Survivors include his wife, Greer Williams, Live Oak, FL; his mother and step father Erma and James Deas, Live Oak; three sons, Richard Cline, Dillon Williams and Abram Williams all of Live Oak; two brothers, Robert (Donna) Williams, Mayo, FL; and Don (Teresa) Williams, Live Oak; one sister, Jenny Williams, West Palm Beach, FL,
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, February 1, 2013 in the Macedonia Baptist Church in Madison County. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery.

Michael Jack Williams, age 46 of Live Oak, FL passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 in Live Oak, FL. The Madison, FL native moved to Live Oak in 1990 from Atlanta, GA. He was an electrician for Brae Electric and in his spare time enjoyed fishing and looking for arrow heads on the Suwannee River. He was a member of the Cherokee Nations Federation of Okmulgee, OK and was of the Baptist faith.
He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Robert Williams, Sr. numerous other family and friends and the most resent a brother, Abram Scott Williams on Sunday, January 27, 2013.
