Frank Mannarino

Frank Mannarino, 73, of Valdosta, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at South Georgia Medical Center after a good fight.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Liz Mannarino of Valdosta; his children, Robert Mannarino of South Windsor, Conn., Donna Reed of Jensen Beach, Fla., Todd Mannarino and wife Eileen of South Windsor, Conn., Brenda Heisler and husband Bob of Daytona, Fla., Darlene Ursry of Valdosta, Susan Mickler and husband Bubba of Madison, Fla., and Macey Mannarino of Valdosta; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Bier of Milford, Conn., and Delores Connelly of Rockaway, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest son, Joseph Mannarino; daughter, Paula Ursry; and brother, Richard Mannarino.
Frank was raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a self-made entrepreneur and was a successful residential developer in New England area. Frank was known for his honesty and integrity. Frank enjoyed a diversity of great interests such as boating, golfing, raising horses and cattle, and traveling. Most importantly, he loved and adored his huge family and cherished dear friendships. His personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral service for Mr. Mannarino will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Crossroads Baptist Church with Dr. Ken Alford and the Rev. Charlie Scarbrough officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
