Joseph  “Joe” Lee Mora

Joseph  “Joe” Lee Mora, age 73, of Jasper, Fla. passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Fla. Mr. Mora was born on May 18, 1940 to the late Joseph and Sarah Byrd Mora. He was the owner/operator of Consolidated Auto Parts in Jacksonville, Fla.  for a number of years. He moved to Jasper in 2005 from Jacksonville.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Barbara Busch Mora; one son, Joseph L. Mora, Jr., Jasper; two daughters, Sarah Eng (Gene) and Sherri Platt (Darrell), all of Jacksonville, Fla.; a half sister, Pat Austin, Homerville, GA.; four grandchildren, Kyle, Ashley, Riley and Haley.

Per Mr. Mora’s request he will be cremated.

Memorial contributions may be made to Haven Hospice, 6037 West U.S. Hwy 90, Lake City, Fla. 32055.

Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. was in charge of immediate arrangements.

Linda Colleen Petty

 

July 17, 1959 – May 14, 2013

 

Linda Colleen Petty, age 53, of Jasper, Fla. passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at her home in Jasper. Colleen was born in Hamilton County, Fla. on July 17, 1959 to the late Warren Crawford Petty and Dinksey Hunter Petty. 

Survivors include one brother, Warren Petty, Jasper, Fla.; three sisters, Helen Monds (Jeff), Jasper, Fla., Lillian Johnson (Carroll), Gainesville, Fla. and Vivian Smith (Edward) Melbourne, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held at a later date and will be announced by Harry T. Reid Funeral Home.

George Nathaniel Kesler

 

June 30, 1931 – June 12, 2013

 

George Nathaniel Kesler, age 81, of Jennings, Fla passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Shands at U.F. in Gainesville, Fla. following an extended illness. Mr. Kesler was a native of Long Island, New York. He was born June 30, 1931 to the late Louis and Catherine Boles Kesler. He served his country in the United States Marines and was a retired truck driver. He moved to Hamilton County some twelve years ago from Miami. 

Survivors include his wife, Faye Kesler; four sons, Daniel, Jason, Roger and Sidney Kesler; one daughter, Valerie Feeney; a step-daughter, Teresa Speakman; five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. 

Per his request, Mr. Kesler will be cremated. 

Harry T. Reid Funeral Home was in charge of immediate arrangements.
