The Branford High School Sports Booster Club is holding an Appreciation Night at McDonald’s in Branford (US 27 and US 129) between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. tonight.

“We’re trying to get people to come out and be more proactive for the sports program,” said BHS Sports Booster Club President Kenny Burt. “It’s for a good cause. Come spend your bucks on our Bucs.”

Burt said that they wanted to keep it simple without having to have printed tickets or any of the fuss some fundraisers can bring.

A portion of the income between 5 and 8 p.m. at McDonald’s in Branford will go toward the Bucs.
