Janet Southerland Enix, 53, of Marietta, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Graveside services will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Moultrie, Ga., on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at 11 a.m.

A native of Georgia, Ms. Enix lived in Cobb County for the past 25 years. She was a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta, and was a member of the Cat Fanciers’ Association. She enjoyed raising Persian cats.

She was the loving mother of her daughter, Chloe Enix, Marietta, Ga., and is also survived by parents, Dr. Billy (Iris) Southerland, Nashville, Ga.; brother, Jerry (Bobbi) Southerland, Lawrenceville, Ga.; former spouse, Dr. Dale Enix.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
