November is National Family Caregivers Month

Family Life Care, a home care company that provides services locally, would like to acknowledge all care givers who give of themselves every day to care for others. Two out of every five American adults are caring for a loved one. With the increasing number of Americans suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, this need for full-time care is compounding.
One of the greatest needs for individuals providing care to their loved one is “respite care”. Respite care is short-term, temporary relief to those who are caring for family members. Family Life Care’s founder Brenda Dunn knows this personally. Dunn cared for her husband who has Alzheimer’s disease at home for 10 years.
