Free Suwannee Lights admission for Veterans Thursday, Dec. 19, at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park

The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park appreciates all United States veterans who have so bravely and honorably served our country through your sacrifices. It’s our honor to provide free admission this Thursday, Dec. 19, to Suwannee Lights for all veterans with valid service ID.

In addition, Power Country 102’s Berry Raulerson will hold a live radio program from 5 – 7 p.m. from the SOSMP in honor of veterans.

Visiting the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) and its Suwannee Lights experience is an event to remember for a lifetime. You’ll be warm and cozy in your own vehicle as you drive through this Christmas spectacular crafted especially for the SOSMP. What you’ll see is more than 6 million twinkling lights on lovingly handcrafted Christmas vignettes throughout this more than a mile long Christmas memories adventure.

Afterwards, take the walking tour, roast some s’mores over a crackling fire with other guests, sit on Santa’s knee while Christmas music plays in the background and tell him just what you are longing for this Christmas. Santa’s elves will be right there to make sure Santa doesn’t miss anyone.

See the Puppetone Rockers Thursday, Friday & Saturday and the Kazoobie Show weekends during Suwannee Lights. Enjoy the Crafts Village with it’s quaint stores. Smell the wonderful soy candles, grab some handmade ice cream, pizza or a hot dog, sip yummy hot chocolate or try a cookie as you gift shop for jams and jellies, sweet local honey, original paintings, handmade outdoor furniture and more.

There will also be music around the campfire outside. Entertainment is also inside the Music Hall. Karaoke is held Tuesday and Thursday evenings, line dancing Wednesday evening and live band performances Friday and Saturday evenings in the Music Hall.

This week it’s the Ugly Sweater Party Friday and Bryce Carlisle Band Saturday. Music Hall admission is free.

As always, the SOSMP’s SOS Café and Restaurant will be open and have available delicious food at regular prices and offers a full service bar.

Suwannee Lights is open from 6 – 10 p.m. through Dec. 24. Come shop and enjoy the season as you build lifelong Christmas memories with your family at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. Admission at the gate Sunday – Thursday is $6 per adult, $2 children. Friday and Saturday adults $8, children $2; Children under age 4 are free.
