My challenge to the Valdosta community and the VDT is to identify a South Georgia community who has been more successful than Valdosta with industrial recruitment over the past five years. Albany? Moultrie? Thomasville? Tifton? Waycross? The Authority has announced significant projects including Martins, Home Depot, Smith Drugs, Steeda, John Deere Water Technologies. Get informed!

To the person who was in the Social Security office and saw all those scam artists scamming Social Security, I don’t care; I’m rich, live off of investments, do not have to pay any Social Security tax. Why do you think we put all the “disability” stuff on Social Security instead of on welfare? So you and the working stiffs would have to pay it, and not me.
