Richard McDonald, age 63, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at Hospice Savannah.
Richard was born in Valdosta where he lived most of his life before moving to Midway. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. Richard was a print press operator for International Greetings, Inc. in Midway, Ga.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sheila Cox McDonald, his parents, Burton and Dorothy McDonald, and his brother-in-law, Emmett Cook.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy McDonald; his daughter, Linda Williams (Royce); his grandchildren, Jacob and Tyler Williams; his sisters, Anne Cook, Carole Isaacs (Lonnie); his brothers, Burton McDonald (Nancy), Gerald McDonald (Debbie), Kenneth McDonald, and David McDonald (Sandy); and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home.
