Congressman Ted Yoho was welcomed to Live Oak by a welcoming committee who waited outside the Woman’s Club building to greet him at his arrival. Yoho was warmly greeted by Eumera Taylor, who was celebrating her 95th birthday.

A large crowd gathered on Friday afternoon to welcome and to hear Congressman Ted Yoho speak at the Woman’s Club in Live Oak. Guests enjoyed several guest musical performances and a delicious lunch before Yoho addressed the crowd.

For nearly an hour, Yoho provided an update regarding what legislatures have accomplished this past year and what bills he is sponsoring that are coming up. Yoho then opened the floor for questions from the audience.

Following Yoho’s address, Live Oak Mayor Sonny Nobles thanked Yoho for being a man that is concerned about the people and being attentive to the local needs. Nobles then presented Yoho with a key to the city.
