Kim Ann Erickson Caylor, 61, died July 16, 2014, at her home in Lometa, Texas. Kim’s powerful  spirit touched so many people. It was this spirit and her gift of love that kept her going when we were told many times there was “no hope.”

Kim was born on Aug. 22, 1952, at Barksdale AFB, Bossier City, La., to the late Chief Master Sgt. Ret. Alfred “Eric” John and Mary “Lou” Erickson. Kim lived in Twin Lakes, Ga., for many of her earlier years and was a graduate of Lowndes High School in 1971.

Survivors include her husband, John Caylor; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Shannon Caylor; grandson, Austin; and granddaughter, Paige, all of Lometa, Texas; her Twin Lakes, Ga., family includes Uncle Ferroll “Mack” and Aunt Mary Ann McLeod; Uncle John and Aunt Cynthia Manion; and cousins, Robin, Layton and Gentry Dees.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Lovette G. McLeod.

A celebration of Kim’s life will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, July 27, 2014, at 5506 George Merrick Circle, Twin Lakes on the lake that Kim loved so much.

We will share pictures, music, food and we would love for you to share your special memories of Kim.

The family requests that all those who attend the celebration, please dress “casually and comfortably.”
