Mary Nobles Scott, age 76, of Live Oak, Fla. passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla. She was born and lived most of her life in Live Oak. Mary was a former member of the Live Oak Women’s Club and loved gardening. She was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church and before her health began to fail she sang in the church choir. She was a wonderful, loving and caring mother, sister and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son, Keith (Susie) Scott, Live Oak, Fla.; one daughter, Katie (Chris) Scott Garcia, Alachua, Fla.; one sister, Clarice Bozeman, Live Oak, Fla.; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Private family funeral services will be held in the Live Oak Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Vincent’s Cancer Center, 1 Shircliff Way, Jacksonville, Fla. 32204.

Raymond Lee Wilson

Feb. 7, 1938 – Sept. 30, 2014

Raymond Lee Wilson, age 76, of Live Oak, Fla. passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014 at his home. He was a native of Gary, Indiana moving to Live Oak in 2006 from St. Petersburg, Fla. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a self-employed painter. Raymond was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church where he was active in the Church Food Bank. He was also a member of AA for twenty-seven years.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Wilson, Live Oak; one son, David Erickson, Crown Point, IN; three daughters, Tish Hudson, Matheson, MS; Shelly Meese, Wesson, MS; Kim Crawford, New Hebron, MS; two sisters, Cindy Wilson and Debbie Swanson, Crown Point, IN; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services will be held, 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 6, 2014 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Hudson officiating.

Robert “Bob” Livesey

Sept. 26, 2014

Robert “Bob” Livesey, 69, of Live Oak, Fla. passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 in the Suwannee Valley Care Center after a long illness. The Waldwick, New Jersey native moved to Live Oak, Fla. in 1987 from Seminole, Fla. Mr. Livesey served in the National Guard, was an owner/operator of the Bayway Services, Live Oak, Fla. for 30 years, a Master Plumber, a member of IICRC and of Methodist Faith.

Mr. Livesey is survived by his wife of 41 years: Sharon Livesey, Live Oak, Fla.; one daughter: Tammy Hudak, New Milford, NJ; two sons: Brian Livesey, Buffalo, Ny and Edward Wieszczek, Largo, Fla.; two sisters: Edna Schuler, Ocean View, NJ and Janet Kelchner, Seminole, Fla.; one brother: John Livesey, Waldwick, NJ; three grandchildren: Ryan Hudak, Luca Wieszczek and Nola Wieszczek.

Louise B. Mullis

Sept. 29, 2014

Louise B. Mullis, 67, Live Oak, Fla. passed away on Monday, Sept. 29, 2014 after a long illness. The Sugar Valley , GA native was a member of Oostanaula Baptist Church in Calhoun, Ga. She was also a program assistant for 4-H, was a teacher and taught classes at Advent Christian Village.

Mrs. Mullis is survived by her husband of forty-seven years: David Mullis, Live Oak, Fla.; one daughter: Emily (Michael , Jr) Garner, Thomasville, GA; one brother: James (Carmen) Bramblett, Mobile, AL; two grandchildren: Lauren Garner, Breanne Garner; two nephews: Ashley Bramblett and Jordan Bramblett. She was preceded in death by her son: Tony Mullis.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6 at Daniels Memorial Chapel with Rev. Greg Richie and Rev. Ashley Bramblett officiating.There will be a visitation held prior to service on Monday from 9 – 10 a.m. Interment will be held at Westview Cemetery in Soperton, GA. Catherine Schneider Carlson

Jan. 6, 1944 – Sept. 28, 2014

Catherine Schneider Carlson, age 70, formally of Live Oak, Fla. passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014 with her loving husband by her side. Catherine was born in Live Oak, Fla. on Jan. 6, 1944 to Merle Elizabeth Weaver and John Henry Schneider. She married the love of her life, Larry Morris Carlson, at age 16 and cared for her children teaching them to respect everyone and always lend a helping hand. Throughout their life together, they lived in numerous states across the US and travelled to many more.  Once the kids were older and the family settled in Garland, TX, she worked for K-Mart as the personnel manager for the Richardson store. She retired from K-Mart and worked as an office manager for several companies, finishing her working career at the Galaxy Counseling Center in Garland by completely retiring in 1999. Once retired, she and Larry moved to Robinson, TX to keep up with their grandchildren. She loved her time at beaches and her greatest joy was to support others in need.

She was predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Carlson of 54 years; children, Sharon Elizabeth Carlson Blanchard and husband, Brad, John Edward Carlson and wife, Teresa; grandchildren Kristen Elizabeth Blanchard Holland and husband, Sam, Collin Dean Blanchard; great grandson, Cohen William Holland; one sister, Iris Robertson of Tampa, Fla.; one brother, John Paul Schneider and wife, Betty of Live Oak; one sister-in-law, Ann Carlson, Gainesville, Fla. along with many nieces and nephews and her Aunt Imogene Tiffin of Jacksonville, along with many cousins.

The Texas friends and family will celebrate Catherine’s life on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 in Robinson, TX. 

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 in the Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Tim Carver officiating.
