The Advent Christian Village (ACV) at Dowling Park hosted their sixth annual Autumn Fest and first annual Day on the Suwannee River Auto Show and Parade last Saturday, Oct. 4. The weather changed just in time for the fall festivities to begin, with folks flocking to the Village Square to peruse vendors selling woodwork, jewelry, plants, toys, candles, soaps, and other goods. Down at Lake Aquilla, over a hundred vintage, stock, and hotrod cars and trucks were on display, along with antique tractors and farm equipment. The vehicles paraded through the Village before the winners were announced. Richard Lasseter of Valdosta, Ga. took home the “Best of Show” title with his red 2014 Ford GT40.
