What are some of our board members thinking you can’t do a 40 year lease with a 10.00 per year renewal for a library for our residences, but you can spend millions of dollars on property to give away to a foreign company. Loss of state aid for libraries state aid is at a all time high now if our county loses state revenues we can close the county. Rev. Johnson was right we have a 3 county regional library system the other two counties already have lease land for libraries approved by their counties and the state .The board has voted since 2006 5–0 to ask the state for this grant knowing of this lease from the start not fair to the people to stop this project now that this grant for 500,000 was approved .

Fifth-grade and above math teachers:  Please teach your students dimensional analysis!  They need this skill throughout their schooling, and have lower math scores when they do not have the skill.  Thanks.

I am waiting for the newspaper to report how much money the Clerk’s attorney charged the County. Afterwards, it should be reimbursed personally by all five commissioners since they caused this waste of money.

I see no problems with excess funds being used for the candy carnival but I do see the problem in the fact that every time there is excess funds, government’s attitude is spend the money so they can ask for more next year, even though we couldn’t use all of what we had this year.
